Qom carpets

The design of Qom silk carpets is taken from historical stories, and therefore have wide variations in design.  The combination of patterns, innovative coloring, and harmony between pattern and coloring is done very expertly, so that the Qom carpet style is created among other handwoven carpets.  Qom handwoven carpets create value, and as a luxurious and antique commodity its value increases the more it is used.
The warp and woof of Qom exquisite carpets is pure silk and is knit with fine silk threads, that while being very delicate, have high strength and durability.  The designs of Qom carpets have wide color variations (20 to 100 colors are used in these carpets).  The number of rows in Qom handwoven carpets is higher than that of other handwoven carpets.  Natural and herbal colors are used for coloring the silk in Qom carpets, and their coloring, washing, and drying is done in open spaces.
This type of carpet is the only luxurious commodity that is produced completely conforming to environmental standards, and in its production process, no damage is done to the environment.  Preparing its fibers, its colors, and its processing is done using completely herbal and non-chemical substances.
Qom carpet patterns include: "shekargah", "derakhti", "lachak&toranj", "shah-abbasi", "kheshti", "eslimi", "mahramat", "mehrabi", and ….  Although the "shekargah" pattern is taken from Isfahan, it is seen in many silk patterns of Qom carpets, which is very admirable and splendid.
